The Australian squad Renegades will miss out on ECS S6 Finals in Arlington, Texas due to "visa issues and scheduling conflicts".
Despite having a great online season with their renewed roster, which now features Sean "Gratisfaction" Kaiwai and Jay "Liazz" Tregillgas, Renegades will not compete at the eight-team ECS Season 6 LAN.
The team will be competing at the Asia Minor Oceania Closed Qualifier back home, which takes place on November 18-19, but pulled out of ECS S6 which takes place on November 22-25 due to "visa issues and scheduling conflicts". As of now, the team didn't specify which players or what kind of visa issues they are facing.
Renegades have also been invited to Toyota Master Bangkok 2018, a $100,000 tournament in Thailand, which overlaps with ECS S6 Finals, and are yet to comment if they are perhaps going to attend that event while waiting for their visa issues to be resolved.
Replacing Renegades at the finals of ECS will be the fifth-placed team of the online league, Cloud9, who will get a chance to play the LAN after a rocky season following a number of roster changes.
With this, the ECS S6 team list looks as follows:
