WCG President and soonCEO Hyoung-Seok Kim has announced that the hosting city for the 2011 event will soon be made public.
Unlike previous years, the 2010 event will kick off without the hosting city for the next edition being made public.
Questioned by HLTV.org at the press conference, Kim stressed that the competition in Los Angeles will start in September, and not in November like in 2009, to justify the fact that the location for next year's event has not yet been disclosed.
The WCG CEO added that it is currently analysing all applications at its disposal and that the announcement will "soon be made".
Quizzed on the cuts in tournament prize winnings, Kim justified the decision with the dollar hitting a new low, indicating that the reduction is "not so significant".
